We collect information directly from you when you apply to us to purchase a Vehicle and when you apply for finance. We use your information to help us make decisions about any other products or services of which we feel you may be interested. We disclose your information to finance companies only when you have expressly requested us to make an application for credit on your behalf.
We may disclose your information to other third parties whose products or services may be of interest to you. You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your information to others for these purposes. If you want us to stop contacting you at any time please write to the Data Protection Officer, Best Car Buyer, Clarence Street, Hull, East Yorkshire Hu14 3PL and we will add your details to our suppression list.
You have the right to obtain a copy of the information that we hold about you. You may request correction or removal of any information that you believe to be inaccurate. Any subject access request must be made in writing to the Data Protection Officer and accompanied by the appropriate administration fee.
How it works
It's simple and will only take a few minutes to complete.
Simple Valuation:
Enter your car's registration and mileage into our simple online valuation tool
We will display a guide price fro your vehicle; should you wish to discuss this further with us then simply call 0845 1291977 and speak to one of our valuation team
Our valuation team will enquire as to:
Whether any additional features have been fitted to your vehicle
Ask you to give us an honest appraisal of your car's condition
Ask you to tell us about your car's service history, MOT, mileage etc
We take everything you've told us about your car into consideration before we give you a valuation. That's why we ask you to contact our valuation team to confirm the final price fro your vehicle.
If you are happy with the valuation and wish to sell, then this can also be arranged through our valuation team. Your vehicle can either be collected or dropped off.
Vehicle Handover
You have the choice of either brining your vehicle to one of our drop-off points or have the vehicle collected from your door step.
You will need to bring all documents (V5 etc) and all of the keys for the vehicle
Once the vehicle has been inspected and its condition confirmed then we will release payment immediately. This can either be in the form of a cheque or a bank transfer. Unfortunately for security reasons we are unable to offer cash payments for vehicles.
The selling process takes between 15 and 30 minutes
We will pay directly in to your bank account which takes 3 to 4 working days
We can arrange settlement of any outstanding finance on your car. Please note that you will need to provide a letter detailing a current settlement figure from your finance company and that the settlement amount will be deducted from the amount paid to you for your car
